McAuliffe named Ground Engineering Awards finalist

03 Apr 2023

McAuliffe has made this year's Ground Engineering Awards shortlist, joining some of the UK's biggest contractors and consultancies as finalists.

The team is up for ‘UK Project with a Geotechnical Value over £3m’ for complex ground engineering works carried out on a former open cast mine in the Midlands.

This is the highest value project category, with the likes of Laing O’Rourke, J Murphy and Sons, AECOM, Atkins, Sweco, and National Grid, also competing for the award.

All finalists need to present their entry to a panel of senior industry judges, before winners are announced at a London ceremony on 12th July.

John McAuliffe, Group Managing Director, said:

“It’s the first time we’ve entered the Ground Engineering Awards, so it’s great to see a smaller residential development make the cut amongst a shortlist of huge infrastructure projects. Well done to our team, who are already riding high after winning Ground Engineering Specialist of the Year at last year’s Construction News Specialists Awards.”
