McAuliffe makes trio of senior hires

27 Oct 2022

McAuliffe has strengthened its contracting and operational divisions with three senior hires.

SHEQ Director, John Pryer, joined the business earlier this year, bringing 40 years’ experience across building, infrastructure, and nuclear sectors, with him. This includes stints at Balfour Beatty and Torsion Group, as well time on water and utility frameworks, and within the Armed Forces.

John has been tasked with building on McAuliffe’s strong health and safety record, leading a team of three to proactively champion SHEQ best practice across the business.

More recently, we’ve welcomed Senior Project Manager, Tom Harrington, and new Financial Controller, Samantha Purchase. Both have over 15 years’ experience in their respective fields.

Drawing on experience managing large multi-million-pound environmental schemes, Tom will oversee McAuliffe’s complex remediation and enabling works projects in the Midlands and South West. Meanwhile, Samantha will manage the business’ day-to-day financial operations.

John McAuliffe, Group Managing Director at McAuliffe Group, said:

“We’re a business that delivers our own services, using our own people, so bringing in fresh talent and ideas is important. “John, Tom, and Samantha bring years of highly relevant experience to McAuliffe Group, which will benefit both us and our clients. It’s a pleasure to welcome them to the team.”
